If you are experiencing pain due to personal injury circumstances that were out of your control, it is important to make sure that you clearly understand the extent of your injuries and receive proper treatment for them to minimize long-term costs and health consequences.

A lifting injury on the job. A fall on a wet floor at a store you were just visiting. These injuries happen in an instant, and they come with two problems at once: the physical pain, and the paperwork that follows once a workers' comp claim or a property owner's insurance gets involved.
At The Neck and Back Clinics, we treat the musculoskeletal complications that come from workplace and slip and fall injuries, including disc, ligament, tendon and muscle tissue damage, spinal misalignment, nerve irritation, and the joint and muscle pain that limits how you move through your day. Our chiropractic physicians build a treatment plan around your specific injury and keep documentation clear for whatever claims process you're navigating.
If you were hurt at work or in a fall that wasn't your fault, don't wait to find out how bad the damage is. Schedule an exam at one of our Las Vegas or Arizona locations and get a clear picture of what's actually going on with your body.
Workplace injuries build up over time potentially as often as they happen all at once:

Slip and fall incidents can happen anywhere: a grocery store, a parking lot, a friend's home, a casino floor. Common injuries include:
Every patient starts with a chiropractic examination that may include x-rays. From there, our chiropractic physicians make a diagnosis and build a treatment plan, which may include chiropractic adjustments, physiotherapy (at our Nevada clinics) or physical medicine modalities and therapeutic procedures, known as PMMTP (at our Arizona clinics), active and passive rehabilitation, and massage therapy.
Workers' compensation rules outlining which providers you can see vary by employer, insurer, and state. If you're not sure whether you have a choice of provider, ask your employer's HR department or claims adjuster, or call our office and we can help you figure out your options.
Early diagnosis and treatment lead to faster recoveries and fewer long-term complications. Waiting weeks to get checked out gives minor injuries time to become chronic ones, and it can also make it harder to connect your symptoms back to the original incident when a claims adjuster reviews your case.
Some injuries are obvious immediately. Others build quietly over days or weeks. Watch for:

We operate seven locations across the Las Vegas valley, including Downtown, Aliante, Northwest, Southwest, North East, and two Green Valley locations, plus a clinic in Laveen, Arizona. Every location is staffed by chiropractic physicians who build individualized care plans rather than running every patient through the same routine.
If you were referred by an employer, attorney, or physician, we work directly with them to keep your care and your documentation aligned. And if you found us on your own, our team will walk you through the exam, the diagnosis, and what treatment looks like from day one.

Your employer or its insurer selects your initial treating physician. If you're not satisfied, Nevada law lets you make one alternative choice of physician or chiropractor without needing insurer approval, but only if you do it within 90 days of your injury. After that window, changing providers requires the insurer's approval. Ask your claims adjuster about your options, or call our office and we can help you figure out where you stand.
Your employer has a one-time right to send you to a doctor of their choice for the initial exam. After that, if your employer carries private workers' comp insurance, which most do, you generally have the right to choose your own doctor for ongoing treatment. The exception is if your employer is self-insured and directs care through a physician registered with the Industrial Commission of Arizona, in which case their chosen doctor continues to treat you. If you're not sure which situation applies to you, ask your employer or call our office.
In many cases, yes, chiropractic care is a covered treatment under workers' compensation programs, though coverage details depend on your specific employer and insurer. Our staff can help verify your coverage before your appointment.
Report the incident to the property owner or manager, document the scene if you can, and get a chiropractic exam even if you feel okay. Many slip and fall injuries, especially to the back and neck, don't show noticeable symptoms until hours or days later.
A workers' comp claim covers injuries that happen on the job and is filed through your employer's insurance, while a slip and fall claim typically involves a property owner's liability insurance and may require proving negligence. Your chiropractic care and documentation process will look similar either way.
This is common, especially with disc, ligament and tendon injuries in the spine. Get evaluated as soon as you notice symptoms, and let your chiropractic physician know the date of the original incident so it can be properly documented.
Your rehabilitation and recovery starts here. Don't wait for pain to get worse before finding out what's actually wrong.
