BENJAMIN S. LURIE, BS, DC, CCST

Dr. Benjamin S. Lurie has been a chiropractic physician since 2001. In private practice since 2002, he now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of NBC Operations, LLC. Under Dr. Lurie’s leadership, The Neck and Back Clinics has expanded multiple locations within the Las Vegas Valley/Henderson and Arizona, with a team of licensed chiropractic physicians, certified chiropractic assistants, and clinic support staff.

Dr. Lurie works closely with Dr. Matthew C. Olmstead, COO who leads overall clinic operations and ensures the primary mission of the clinics, that is, to provide high-quality care and documentation to all patients. Dr. Lurie is an accomplished and enthusiastic management and health care professional with solid academic credentials in the science of chiropractic and a proven track record delivering high-quality care to patients, who appreciate his ability to set them at ease.

With his background, experience, and leadership talents, Dr. Lurie served 8 years in public safety and protection (2010-2018) as President of the Chiropractic Physicians’ Board of Nevada and as chair for the legislative committee. Dr. Lurie was first appointed by Governor Gibbons and reappointed in October 2014 by Governor Sandoval. Dr. Lurie was the recipient of two awards for Chiropractic Board of the Year recognized by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards for his leadership and the boards’ participation in public safety and public protection in Nevada.

Dr. Lurie earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001, where he was the recipient of the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award, the Certificate of Merit for Teaching Diagnosis and the Certificate of Merit for Teaching Technique. He is Board Certified in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST) from Life West University and holds an Advanced Certification in Whiplash Biomechanics & Injury Traumatology from Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Dr. Lurie also earned a B.S. in Zoology with a Minor in Chemistry/Physics from Southern Utah University, where he attended with an athletic football scholarship.

In addition to his duties as CEO for NBC Operations, LLC, Dr. Lurie periodically serves as a guest lecturer and instructor at professional events and schools.

Dr. Lurie continues to expand his professional chiropractic training knowledge by attending continuing education events on a range of topics.
